Report from Little Rock police of the robbery of Urban Swag, a shop at 315 North Bowman Road, Saturday afternoon. The store owner, Dexter Mitchell, who was struck in the face by three robbers, fired at them a number of times as they fled the store and they returned the fire. The report doesn't indicate that anyone was hit, but one bullet hole was found in a car on the store parking lot.
Other police news over the weekend included:
* PARKING LOT ROBBERY: A man who said he was armed grabbed keys from a woman on the Kroger parking lot at 11400 Cantrell Road late Friday night and told the woman to get in the car. She refused and grabbed the keys back. He apparently got nervous and fled.
* PURSE SNATCHING: An 84-year-old woman suffered lacerations as she was briefly dragged along by robbers in a car as she tried to hold onto a purse grabbed from her at 8800 Baseline Road.
* WENDY'S ROBBERY: Three men took money from a Wendy's at 10623 W. Markham about 9 p.m. Sunday, including money from a safe.
* TACO BELL ROBBERY: Two robbers, apparently communicating by two-way radio with a third man, roughed up employees locking up the Taco Bell at 9600 North Rodney Parham about 4 a.m. this morning, but were unable to get into the restaurant safe before fleeing. An employee said she was kicked and choked by one of the robbers.
