* TOM COTTON STATEMENT ON OBAMA: 'MOSTLY FALSE': Politifact has reviewed U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton's overhyped statement on the House floor on terrorism during the administration of President Obama versus what he claimed were zero events under George W. Bush (not counting that little 9/11 thing). "Mostly false," the fact-checking service concludes.

* NO S***: Retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connorsays the ruling she joined in Bush v. Gore perhaps was a mistake.

* WLR APARTMENT FIRE: Twelve apartments burned but no one was hurt in an early morning fire today at the Town Oaks Village complex on Treasure Hill Road. KARK has a report and video.

* STILL THE ATVS TEAR UP PARK: Update on the Section 13 city of Little Rock park, some 600 acres off Garrison Road west of Little Rock and south of Highway 10. It's mostly forested and offers some good mountainbike trails. Some acreage also was cleared for playing fields. Unfortunately, we noted in March 2011, the open area in a remote location has proved an attractive nuisance to truck and ATV drivers who carve deep ruts and thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Two years later, no change, an unhappy neighbor reports. She says the property is no longer marked by a sign. She writes:

I have just been in a shouting match with the people you see in the photos attached. I wish I'd taken more pictures, but I was afraid they'd beat me up. ... The woman on the 4-wheeler screamed that she had no idea it was a park and she did not realize she wasn't supposed to be there. ... The environment has been ruined and nobody takes any interest. I am angry that Little Rock is spending money on fancy bridges for bicyclists - yet has abandoned a piece of property out in the sticks because it's too rocky for ball fields.

The city says it is still searching for a solution to keeping motorized vehicles off the playing fields.
