Update on the Billy's Bar brouhaha in Fayetteville (video above) that I mentioned again this morning. One of those involved WAS a Little Rock police officer. Statement from Sgt. Cassandra Davis of LRPD:
On April 15, 2013 this agency received information that an officer with this agency was involved in a physical altercation in Fayetteville, AR. Reports indicated that the officer was in possession of a handgun and did display that handgun during this altercation. Our department determined this officer to be Jeffery Harris who was hired with this department in November of 2011. Mr. Harris has been relieved of duty [not fired, but suspended with pay] and an Internal Investigation has been initiated. This department is cooperating with Fayetteville police as they investigate this incident.
