The Arkansas chapter of Americans for Prosperity, the Koch billionaires' anti-tax, anti-regulation political arm that spent a million bucks to produce a Republican legislative majority in Arkansas, has a new state executive director. The former director, Teresa Oelke, has moved into a national role in the organization.
AFP news release:
Americans for Prosperity Arkansas announced the appointment of Jason Cline as Arkansas State Director.Former State Director Teresa Oelke was officially appointed Vice President of State Operations for the organization Americans for Prosperity in late February.
“I am excited to take on this new role to help lead the charge of advancing Arkansas toward more opportunity for all,” said Jason. “Arkansas is ground zero for many hot button issues, and I look forward to engaging in conversations with citizens and legislators in the coming months.”
Growing up in family businesses, Jason has worked to advance economic freedom and free market principles for the past ten years. From fighting government corruption and cronyism, to natural resource development, to getting government spending under control, Jason has been a strong advocate for economic freedom.
It would appear the new leader is this young fellow, a native Alaskan, about 26. A past web link described him as a politcal consultant with expertise in "natural resource development." Drill, baby, drill. Then, of course, pipe it, baby, pipe it.
